The Scrab Pendant is a mount-summon item dropped from the Scarabeus Treasure Bag. It spawns Pillbug Friend, a rolled-up ridable pillbug that resembles Scarabeus in appearance, specifically during their roll-dash attack.
The mount has a very slow initial roll speed, that increases the longer you ride it in a continuous path, eventually rolling very quickly and going through enemies without the player taking contact damage. The invincibility lasts for as long as the player stays at the maximum speed needed to activate it, meaning you can go very far without taking contact damage. Despite that, it is not immune to projectiles, and getting hit by one will bring you back to its initial speed.

- While rolling, it makes the digging sound of worm enemies and emits sand particles behind it.
Tips[]
- Due to its behavior, the Scarab Pendant is effective against invasions such as the Goblin Army and The Tide.
- It is also effective against bosses that lack projectiles, such as King Slime and Eater of Worlds.
