The Ethereal Butterfly Staff is a craftable Pre-Hardmode Summon weapon. It summons an Ethereal Butterfly that dashes at Enemies close by. The butterfly will dissipate when right-click it, leaving exploding arcane stars that knockback enemies. When there are no enemies around, the Ethereal Butterfly floats around the player.
Its best modifier is Ruthless. The Mythical modifier provides the widest array of stats bonuses, but these primarily affect the initial summon rather than the resulting minion. Additionally, Minions cannot deal Critical hits. The only significant advantage a Mythical Ethereal Butterfly Staff has over a Ruthless one is knockback.
