Cryolite armor is a craftable Pre-Hardmode armor set crafted from Cryolite Bars. It takes a total of 45 Cryolite Bars to craft a full suit.
It consists of a Cryolite Helmet, Cryolite Chestplate, and Cryolite Greaves.
The Cryolite Helmet gives 9 defense and 12% increased melee speed; the Cryolite Chestplate gives 12 defense, 10% increased melee damage, and a 12.5% chance for melee strikes to inflict the Chilly Grasp debuff for 3 seconds, reducing enemy speed by 10%; and the Cryolite Greaves gives 10 defense and 8% increased melee speed.
A full set provides a total of 31 defense, 10% increased melee damage, 20% increased melee speed, and the chance for melee strikes to slow enemies. Its set bonus grants an icy aura around the player that inflicts the Chilly Grasp debuff onto enemies within the aura for 0.33 seconds. The aura increases in size over the course of 15 seconds, but resets upon being damaged.
